Mike Vigil and team assembled a new boat that was completed in September. The first run off the trailer at Bakersfield, CA experimented with a newly designed scoop positioned in front of the injector which caused the throttle to hang wide open. At the World Finals a new experimental prop which developed the speeds at half track of a World Record pace. As the Automan shifted into third gear, the boat prop walked around causing the barrel roll and the right-side-up landing, with minor damage to the hull and steering. Kebin disassembled the boat on Friday and repaired the damage to run again and qualify the next morning. Finished out the weekend with an ET of 5.64 and 218 MPH.

The G-Force team attended selective races for an indefinite period. Drove two boats at one race which had not been done since 1970.
